Debris is the second track on the Gravity Soundtrack.
Description[]
Debris is played during the scene where the cloud of satellite debris rips through the Explorer Space Shuttle, stranding Dr. Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalski in outer space and exposing the other crew members to the vacuum, killing them.
The role of this track in the film is not only to build suspense but also to establish the debris as a symbolic antagonist. The track features a faint choir at the end but is mainly made up of techno instruments, lacking any traditional ones.
