Congratulations to Gravity's astounding TEN Oscar nominations, folks! Let's see Gravity rake them in! Good to see the Oscars were more kind than the Golden Globes. I never liked those anyway. ;)

But where's Aningaaq, Jonas' short film and companion piece to Gravity? Shouldn't that have at least been nominated for an Oscar for Best live action short film? Maybe I am nitpicking but that was a great short film that showed the other side of what was going on back on Earth while Stone was stranded in space. Maybe it doesn't count because it was a companion piece made for the DVD rather than a short film itself, but they should have a category for that at least.
